Sean McKenna is a 2019 2B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Cherry Hill, NJ who attends Cherry Hill East High School. Young, athletic build with square shoulders and a lean, projectable frame with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 5.05 40-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, short and quick steps moving towards the ball, could get more momentum through the ball with lower half, full arm action through the back working to an over-the-top release point, accurate across and arm strength will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begsin with a square stance in the box and utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Balanced mechanics and handles the barrel well, contact oriented approach and executes nicely. Full swing path through the zone, stays linear to the ball and shows ability to work all fields; strides on line with lower half, ball comes off barrel best when working middle of field, shows quickness to hands. Excellent student.
