Alexander Farmer is a 2020 C/IF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attends St. Thomas Aquinas. Large frame with present strength to the build and more room to fill. Ran a 7.91 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, comes out of his even crouch with aggression and some explosiveness, releases with intent and quickness, could follow through more as he does tend to shorten some extension on throws, good arm strength with carry to the bag but could get more with minor refinement, 1.99 second 60 yard dash. Righthanded hitter, narrow base to start, inside and long hand path to the baseball with rotational actions, could get lower half more involved in swing for additional bat speed and pop off of the barrel.
