Bryant Rhooms is a 2019 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Stockbridge, GA who attends Dutchtown HS. Medium, slender build on the frame. Recorded a 7.15 60-yard dash time. Smooth fielder in the outfield with clean transfers and moves well. Solid arm strength with a full arm action and showed solid mechanics and footwork as well. Threw from a full arm action and a three-quarter arm slot. Did a good job of throwing strikes and inducing weak contact. The fastball was best when it was down in the zone with good angle to the pitch. The fastball sat from 71-75 mph and topped out at 77 mph. Also mixed in a curveball in the mid-60s and a changeup in the low-60s. Even stance at the plate with a longer swing path and a pull approach. Has a simple leg lift trigger for timing with a fluid overall swing. Good student.
