Carlton Harper is a 2019 SS/2B, OF with a 6-1 178 lb. frame from Canton, MI who attends Plymouth Salem HS. Recorded a 7.09 second 60-yard dash time. Physically projectable frame with a lean build and tons of room for additional strength. Primary shortstop with athletic actions and solid footwork through the ball. Arm strength recorded up to 79 mph across. Secondary outfielder with fluid actions to the ball and online throws. Big crow hop and looseness to the arm path. Lefthanded hitter with a slightly open start and a narrow base. Quickness and twitch to hands with a controlled element of explosion as he turns through the baseball. Gets the barrel head out in front and extends well. Gap-to-gap approach with natural loft in the swing. Very balanced and the hands work really well into the swing.
