Richie Sharp is a 2016 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Townsend, MA who attends North Middlesex Regional HS. Large athletic frame, tall with long limbs, high waist, and a projectable build with room to add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher, shows a short arm action through the backside with a three-quarter arm action at release. Stays tall on back side, some drop and drive to release but gets on top of the ball well and fills up the zone. Fastball topped at 80 mph, mostly true in shape with occasional running and cutting life. Shows ability to get to glove side. Works ahead in the count, showed a feel for changeup that featured dive down in the zone at 72 mph. Gets around slider, shows some depth and occasional curveball shape at 73 mph. Good student.
