Juan Jimenez is a 2015 SS/2B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends Colegio San Ignacio De Loyola. Medium, lean young build with room to fill out significantly. Ran a 7.35 60 yard dash. Bats left-handed, works from a quiet, sound, line drive approach. Shows good hand-eye coordination and a smooth swing path. Keeps his hands inside the ball and stays balanced. Attacks the ball but doesn't expand the strike zone. Makes accurate throws from shortstop and shows good footwork. Arm strength is still developing but has carry. Very good student.
