Harrison Ickes is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Winter Park, FL who attends Lake Howell. Medium athletic build, broad shoulders, has room to fill out. Primary right handed pitcher, up-tempo, energetic delivery. Compact arm-action, solid arm speed coming through the zone, flashes ability to get extended over frontside, can lean towards first base side and lose angle at times. Fastball up to 78 mph, shows riding action, solid late life. Also has feel for curveball with 11/5 shape, offering has solid depth and late break, can be quality pitch. Will flash a rare changeup, still developing feel and consistency for pitch at present. Right handed hitter, deep hand set. Rotational upper body swing, pull-oriented approach and contact, flashes some feel for the barrel. Shows solid bat speed and some strength when squared. Good student.
