Cade Manning is a 2020 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Southlake Carroll HS. Solid athletic build with a strong lower half. 7.21 runner, has good balance and athleticism on defense, strong arm with carry, can make athletic plays on the move especially charging the ball. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance, has a short and fluid swing with good hip rotation, showed bat speed and gap power, keeps his timing simple, best when he's taking a hack and not trying to guide the ball. Also pitched, low effort delivery with a simple leg raise start, short stride out front, long 3/4's arm action, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight, thrown to mid-plate. Change up was is best secondary pitch, soft curveball. Good student.
