Quinn Mimnaugh is a 2017 2B/RHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Hoover, AL who attends John Carroll Catholic High School. Lean build with room to fill out and add strength. Hits from a square stance, line drive plane with lift. Short path to the ball, shows feel for barrel and hits to all fields. Gets weight shifted. Has good bat speed and makes consistent contact. Mechanically sound swing, will improve with strength. Defensively, good actions to ball, circles well with good footwork, arm is loose and throws are accurate. Also pitches, 3/4 arm slot, full hand path to release, threw strikes and pitched to contact. Curveball had 11/5 shape. Slight hip and back turn at top of balance point. Good Student.
