Brody Logsdon is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-7 210 lb. frame from Huffman, TX who attends St. Thomas HS. Extra large frame, long limbs and athletic, 6.53 runner in the 60. Primary outfielder who reads hops, plays below and through the ball well, uses a full arm stroke with good arm strength, to make online throws to the bases. Starts slightly wide and open in the box with an upright stance. Presents a full power approach at the plate with lift in the swing and the bat speed to compliment it. Aggressive swinger with plus power potential who is pull side oriented, creates leverage out front with extension through contact. Also pitches, easy effort delivery that creates a crossfire step to the plate. Uses a higher leg lift and minimal hip turn at the top with a shorter takeaway before delivering through a high 3/4 arm slot. Has arm strength and shows potential for development. Fastball ranges 86-88 mph and generates solid downhill plane when on time at release. Curveball has 11/5 shape with hard biting late action and he shows the ability to land the pitch with consistency. Displays extremely projectable tools. Solid student.
