Michael Chiusano is a 2016 C/1B, 3B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Middletown, NJ who attends Middletown South. Large, athletic frame with a strong, mature build. Ran a 7.87 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, shows a quick and tight release from behind the plate, tall at release, accurate throws down to second with strength, quick arm, can improve pop time with better directionality of lower half on throws. Right-handed hitter, starts from an upright stance with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Line drive swing plane, keeps hands in on swing, generates contact to pull side with some pop, stays balanced in swing, strong lower half, has lift in swing. Good student.
