Mackenson Bobo is a 2019 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Longview, TX who attends Hallsville HS. Recorded a 6.87 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and build with lots of present twitch and athleticism to the frame. Primary righthanded pitcher with a quick arm and feel for locating the baseball. Low effort delivery with some tempo to the motion. Clean arm stroke with a tight arm circle in the back and extended, high three-quarters arm slot. High leg lift with a hip turn at the top to utilize backside and has good direction. Heavy arm side sinking life on the fastball that topped out at 85 mph. Works to both sides and features a short breaking curveball with 10/4 shape and late break to it. Attacks hitters and fills the zone. Secondary outfielder with very good arm strength recorded up to 91 mph. Very easy carry and lightning quick feet that work well through the ball. Accurate throws that fly out of the hand well. Righthanded hitter with a line drive swing plane and solid swing path. Tight hands with a consistent, repeatable swing path. Plane gets downhill at times and features a high-contact approach. Good student. Named to the 2018 Sunshine South Showcase Top Prospect List. Good student.
