Carter Brown is a 2016 RHP with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Bentonville, AR who attends Bentonville HS. Strong build on a medium athletic frame. Simple on line delivery, clean full arm action, arm is loose and works well coming through, works downhill well, sound overall mechanics. Steady mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, fastball is mostly straight and will have to develop movement at the next level. Slider is a good pitch with tight spin and good feel for location, will take off some on the slider on occasion for a bigger curveball look. Change up is a bit firm but has confidence in it and throws it for strikes. Three quality pitches and the potential for plus control. Good student.
