Kyle Redford is a 2015 SS/2B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Meridian, ID who attends Meridian HS. Large, athletic frame with room to fill out with added strength. Runs well, posted a 7.09-60 yard dash. Middle infielder, stays balanced throughout his actions, hands play. Takes an extra step in his release, accurate throws across with arm strength up to 81 mph. Will need to quicken release on throws across. Right-handed batter, starts from an upright stance with low hands and a balanced set up. Shifts weight through his lower half well, keeps hands close, and uses a middle of the field approach. Gets the barrel through the zone and produced line drives to the middle and opposite field. Shows strength that can be incorporated into his swing. Excellent student.
