Evan McDonald is a 2017 OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Pflugerville, TX who attends Pflugerville HS. Compact athletic build, good strength for his age. 7.28 runner, moves well in the outfield and showed range in the games, deep extended arm action with developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, very spread stance with bent knees, short swing, tends to hit from under the ball due to his spread stance, patient hitter who will work counts and foul off pitches, spray line drive contact, has some hitting tools to keep improving with adjustments. Very good student.
