Jairon Rivera is a 2019 RHP with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Carolina, PR who attends PJ Educational. Medium build with good present strength. Very long arm action from a high energy delivery, stays directional well and repeats his mechanics. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, gets heavy arm side life and sinking action, threw strikes with his fastball and was aggressive attacking hitters with it. Flashed good quality with his change up but wasn't consistent with it yet, chance to be a solid pitch. Did not observe a breaking ball. Arm strength will play but must continue to develop his secondary pitches.
