Dominic Maietta is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 5-9 138 lb. frame from Vadnais Heights, MN who attends White Bear Lake HS. Slender young build, minimal present strength. Knee tuck delivery with a short stride out front, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, gets over his front side well and works downhill to the bottom of the zone, arm works well coming through and has some projection. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight with good location. Curveball gets good spin with a deep 10/4 sweeping break, developing change up. Has the tools to keep improving with additional strength. Right handed hitter, short pull oriented swing, can stay balanced better for more consistent contact. Showed his arm strength from the outfield.
