PG Grade: 7
Jeff Wagner is a 2007 RHP/OF with a 6'2'', 195 lb. frame from Danville, CA, who attends De La Salle HS. He has an extra large frame with present strength throughout. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm circle on the back side. Wagner gets arm side life on his fastball with occasional sink that topped out at 75 mph, and he keeps the pitch down in the zone. He has projectable velocity, and allowed only 3 hits in his 2 innings on the mound. At the plate he has a quick bat with a strong and powerful swing. Wagner stays down well with good extension on his line drive swing. He projects as a middle of the order run producer who will hit with power. Defensively he moves well in the outfield with solid arm speed on his throws. He is also a very good student who should be followed.
