Felix A. Malave Torres is a 2014 RHP with a 6-4 176 lb. frame from Rio Piedra, PR. Very tall, slender young build, minimum present strength. Works from the stretch, calm leg raise delivery, arm is loose and easy, low effort release, high 3/4's arm slot, release point not consistent. Mid 80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight. Throws short mid 70's slider for strikes, rare change up. Lots of velocity potential with additional strength and development. Not presently in school. Named to the Caribbean Showcase Top Prospect team.
