Hunter Cole is a 2018 OF/ with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Winter Garden, FL who attends West Orange. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulder and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout frame. Ran a 6.96 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows twitch to actions while moving towards ball, athletic actions and works through the ball nicely, full arm action and gets on top well, comes out of hand well and shows present strength to intended base, projects for more with additional lower half incorporated at release. Switch-hitter, shows comfort from either side of the plate with better overall feel from the right side. Begins with a wide base and a high back elbow, uses a small toe tap trigger and does a nice job of hitting the ball out front, shows a contact approach with a line drive swing plane and feel for the barrel. Similar stance from the left side with a wide base and line drive swing plane, generates more lift out front and shows feel for the barrel with jump coming off when squared. Good student.
