Jaimie Niley is a 6'2" 190 pound 2006 first baseman and outfielder from Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove, California who is an athletic proportioned kid with room to hold more muscle. He has a middle of the line up type bat with present strength and good bat control. Jaimie has good projection to his bat, with a narrow base and he stands very tall. Niley has good bat speed with his back elbow erect and has some looseness through contact. He ran a 7.26 60 and threw an impressive 84 mph from the outfield. He might want to venture on the mound at some point to see if his arm transfers over there.
