Jackson Prillaman is a 2018 MIF/ with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from High Point, NC who attends Wesleyan Christian Academy High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.36 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary middle infielder, rounded the ball to field, moved well to it, quick release, accurate throws, and developing arm strength. At the plate, started with an open stance, narrow base, slight crouch, and an active hand set. Showed quick hand with a short, compact swing working inside the ball. Inconsistent lower half with a linear swing path and an approach that worked up the middle and pull. Would continue to improve at the plate with additional lower half in swing. Very good student.
