Zack Patton is a 2017 LHP/OF/1B with a 6-0 154 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia HS. Medium, young build with significant room to add strength. Ran a 7.42 60 yard dash. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and reaches 81 mph with his fastball. Needs to use lower half more, has more velocity on the way. Has a short arm action and pitches consistently around the zone. Repeats his delivery and mixes in a solid 11-5 curveball at 63 mph. Changeup shows potential. Also swung the bat, stays compact to the ball and starts his hands from a high set. Line drive approach. Shows solid outfield arm strength and good footwork.
