Colin Naumchik is a 2016 LHP/OF, 1B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Somers Point, NJ who attends Mainland Reg. Medium, lean young built with room to fill out. Pitches from a three-quarter arm slot and throws across his body at times. Throws strikes with his fastball and has sinking action. Tops at 70 mph and locates down in the zone. Mixes a curveball with 2-8 rotation and solid depth. Mixes his pitches and attacks hitters down in the strike zone. has a long infield arm action and moves well around first base. Bats from a crouched, spread setup and carries his hands low. Hits line drives and makes consistent line drive contact. Very good student.
