Jake Woltman is a 2021 1B/RHP with a 6-3 204 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends La Costa Canyon. Large framed primary first baseman, works through the ball well and has the ability to throw from multiple slots. Pivots cleanly to second base and showcases a solid arm to all bags. On the mound, has a large leg kick with a longer arm. Utilized a fastball and breaking ball offering. At the plate, has an upright even stance, uses hands well, short and direct to the baseball. Has a slightly lifted bat plane with consistent backspin into the gaps. Good pop when barreled.
