Jaiden Nelson is a 2017 LHP/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Sea Tac, WA who attends John F Kennedy Catholic HS. Medium, young frame with room to add strength with maturity. Ran a 7.86 60 yard dash. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and cuts and sinks his fastball effectively. Repeats his delivery and tops at 65 mph with his fastball. Has movement on all his pitches. Lives on the edges of the zone. Curveball feel is developing and shows 1-7 shape. Pitches to contact. Also swung the bat, uses a small leg kick trigger, and has an opposite field approach. Handles the barrel well. Arm strength is developing at first base but hands work well. Excellent student.
