Jacob Rodriguez is a 2016 2B/OF with a 5-6 165 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Central Catholic HS. Shorter compact build, has some present strength. Right handed hitter, open stance, closes well and moves into contact, inside swing approach with some loose extension out front, showed good plate discipline, looked to work the ball to the opposite field, line drive plane and contact. 7.14 runner, second base tools and actions, has good hands and a quick release, playable raw arm strength, stays balanced at the ball well, can improve lateral foot quickness.
