Defensively he showed good blocking skills in game with good energy behind the plate. Genoways stands to throw on his pop throws and he has developing arm strength. He showed solid footwork around the bag at 1B with solid hands. He projects best at 1B at the next level. At the plate, Genoways starts with a narrow stance and uses a hands back load to start his swing. He is short to the baseball and has some lift in his swing. Genoways made solid contact and has raw strength in his swing. He has some power potential with solid hitting tools. Outstanding student.
