Joey Savin is a 2016 LHP/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Fayetteville, AR who attends Fayetteville East. Medium, athletic build with nice present strength on frame and some room to continue to fill out. Primary left-handed pitcher, throws from an extended three-quarter arm slot with a full arm action in the back. Stays tall on back side and gets closed at balance point and has a short stride down the mound. Fluid arm action, ball comes out of hand clean, topped out at 81 mph with fastball with some extension out front. Front side opens early at times, but when on top slider shows solid 1-7 shape with depth at 71 mph. Very good student.
