Robert Charles Trevino is a 2018 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Ranch High School. Large frame, lean, slender build, athleticism, long limbs, and good room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted an impressive 6.93 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, but graded out better from the outfield. Showed a long arm action with tremendous carry out of the hand. Short footwork, fielded the ball cleanly, and showed impressive arm strength up to 87 mph. At the plate, showed very impressive looseness to swing with good bat speed. Swung with intent to drive the ball in the air with a pull oriented approach. Showed good power projection with a pair of batting practice homers. Projects very well with the bat. Also pitched, started with a higher leg lift, uptempo delivery, good extension, longer arm action, and threw from a high three quarter arm slot. Created good plane to the plate with his fastball at 79-82/83 mph with good wiggle when staying on top of the pitch. Looked to pitch backwards with 11/5 shaped curveball that flashed above average spin. Very impressive athlete with tools on both sides. Named to Top Prospect List.
