Daniel Trillo is a 2017 OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Killian HS. Trillo starts with a medium sized frame with a compact build. Defensively he showed solid actions in the outfield with clean transfers. Trillo showed arm strength up to 83 MPH and his arm works well. He played back on the ball in the workout and has an upright finish at release. At the plate, Trillo starts with a slightly open stance with a high hand set with high back elbow. He gets good use of his lower half and swings on a line drive plane. Trillo made consistent hard contact to the middle of the field and he showed good bat speed. Trillo showed good barrel skills and good hitting tools. He also runs well with a 6.86 time in the sixty and stole a couple bases in the games portion of the showcase. Very good student, named to Top Prospect Team.
