Nick Ruhl is a 2018 3B/RHP, C, 1B, SS, OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Timber Creek HS. Good size with a lean overall build and plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 7.40 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman with a full arm path and got good carry on throws. Solid present arm strength with short steps to the ball. Solid fundamentals across the board with quickness to hands and a projectable build. Made all of the plays well. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a balanced delivery including a leg lift up to the belt. Uses his lower half well with a bit of a drop and drive approach. Good extension down the mound and has a loose arm action. Three-quarter arm slot and the fastball has late life to the arm side. Mixed in a 12/6 curveball with good downward action and tight spin. Changeup was thrown with confidence and had similar arm speed and good sink to it; should throw the pitch more often. Quality pitchability and feel for three pitches and mixing speeds. Righthanded hitter with a closed stance and a small leg lift trigger into contact. Upper half dominant swing with an easy stride into contact. Transfers weight well with an up the middle and opposite field approach. Has good rhythm and can impact the ball with good strength through the point of contact, recorded exit velocity up to 87 mph.
