Charles Crosby is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Albany, GA who attends Deerfield-Windsor. Large frame, strong lean athletic build with broad shoulders. Hits from a slightly open stance with a leg kick trigger, long stride, long swing, lifts and pulls, strong at contact, accelerates hands well and showed ability to recognize spin well in game at-bats. Long arm action in the outfield, arm works well, strong arm, accurate throws with online car, good footwork, solid athleticism, plus corner outfield tools to develop. Also pitched and topped out at 85 mph pitching from a three quarters arm slot, 11-5 curveball, good sink on fastball, maintains velocity out of the stretch and threw strikes. Good student. Named to the Southeast Underclass Showcase Top Prospect Team.
