Shane Sirdashney is a 2018 C/OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands HS. Very young look and build, lots of time and room to get stronger. Very sound fundamentally on defense both catching and in the outfield, blocks and receives the ball especially well for his age, repeats his mechanics and footwork and makes accurate throws, shows lots of energy behind the plate. 7.00 runner whose arm strength shows well in the outfield because of his advanced footwork and mechanics. Right handed hitter, inside swing path with limited lower half use, stays short to the ball and handles the barrel, showed the ability to make adjustments in games to square the ball up. Impressive energy and grasp of the fundamentals for a young player, will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Excellent student.
