Blair Frederick is a 2016 LHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from New Orleans, LA who attends Brother Martin HS. Medium athletic build, room to get stronger, broad rounded shoulders. Multi-part delivery, late hand separation, good drive to the plate, short and compact arm action, 3/4's to mid 3/4's arm slot. Mid to upper-80's fastball, topped out at 88 mph, works mostly to his arm side with some running action, tends to cut arm off out front preventing him to get glove side consistently. Sweeping curveball will vary between a curveball and slider shape, will back foot right handed hitters with it. Developing change up. Verbal commitment to Louisiana State.
