Justin Olivarez is a 2015 MIF/RHP with a 5-6 148 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Thomas C Clark HS. Young slender build, minimal present strength. Polished middle infield actions, quick feet and nice footwork, stays balanced and works through the ball, showed some range to his left, tools and actions best suited for second base. Right handed hitter, sound hitting mechanics, short and quick to the ball, simple and balanced, squares up the ball consistently and flashes some gap power. Also pitched, standard leg raise delivery with long 3/4's arm stroke, low 70's fastball, soft curveball, threw strikes and made hitters swing the bat. Good student.
