Cristian Gutierrez is a 2016 SS/OF/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein HS. Slender young athletic build, prototypical middle infielder's look. 6.85 runner, very quick infield actions, shows range, very good hands at the ball, stood out in games for his overall skills, arm strength still developing but should keep improving. Right handed hitter. Loose easy swing with good extension out front, moves into contact well with good lower half shift, very sound approach just waiting for strength to make it blossom, showed some gap to gap power when squared up. Lots of projection in all areas. Good student.
