Angel H Bermudez is a 2017 C/3B with a 5-9 195 lb. frame from Newton, MA who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy/HS. Bermudez has a medium sized frame with a thick stocky build. Defensively he showed developing catch and throw actions with developing catch and throw tools. Bermudez has a long release with arm strength up to 71 MPH. He doesn't gain ground on his pop throws and made online throws. At the plate, Bermudez starts with a wide base with a high hand set. He uses a rock back load and looks to lift the ball. He has some bat speed and showed strong hands at contact. Bermudez showed some pop and can drive the ball to the gaps. Good student.
