Gabriel Ayala is a 2014 SS/2B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Palm Bay, FL who attends Heritage. Medium, athletic, lean build with more room to fill out. Ran a 7.10 60 yard dash. Bats right-handed, works from a narrow setup and carries his hands high. Looks to hit line drives and has a flat, fluid bat path. Stays very short to the ball. Shows solid arm strength across the diamond and has a long arm action in the back. Hands work well and shows solid lateral agility. Should continue to improve. Very good student.
