Nicolas Priola is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Westminster, CO who attends Arvada West HS. Large frame with room to add strength. As a left handed pitcher he pitched from a high 3/4 arm slot with smooth easy actions on the mound. He showed good command of all three of his pitches, pounded the zone with all his pitches, he showed good arm side run on his fastball and his curveball had good sharp break to it. As an outfielder he showed good routes to the ball with good footwork and gets behind the ball well. At first base in the game he showed a good first step, moves well around the base and handles the glove very good. As a left handed hitter, he showed a short-compact swing with good balance and good use of his lower half with gap to gap power. Good Student. Named to Top Prospect Team.
