Matthew Codispoti is a 2015 C/OF, 3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Patchogue, NY who attends Patchogue-Medford HS. Medium build with lean athletic frame. Has some present strength but should continue to get stronger. Hits from the right side. He has an even set up with a middle to opposite field approach. Will go the other way. Barrel stays in the zone a long time. Crushed a ball to LCF in game. Behind the plate he showed a quick transfer and popped a 2.09 in the workout. He showed good hands and footwork on the infield. Also worked out in the OF. Made accurate throws with a clean transfer. Outstanding in the classroom.
