Jeffrey Fripp II is a 2016 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 240 lb. frame from Orange Park, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Extra large and strong build, really stands out for his strength. Right handed hitter, spread stance, has looseness and extension in his swing in addition to very good bat speed, will step out and open early occasionally looking to pull and lift but doesn't need to to get power, big bat speed, ball is loud coming off the bat, high ceiling power potential if he learns how to make adjustments. Moves well for his size at first base and has good footwork, makes accurate throws. Also pitched, long arm circle in back, opens early, spins off on release. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, soft curveball that tends to hang, competed well and threw strikes. Bat has a chance to be very good. Good student. Named to the Showcase Top Prospect Team.
