Zach Brown is a 2017 RHP/OF, MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Pasadena, CA who attends Bishop Amat. Brown has a medium sized frame with a lean build. He pitches from a submarine arm slot with a long arm action. He uses a high leg lift and drops his upper half down at hand separation. He throws from a difficult arm angle for hitters to pick up and it also limits his extension. Brown gets some run and sink on his fastball and works down in the zone well. He also throws a 10/4 curveball with some sweeping action to it. Defensively Brown charges the ball well in the outfield and has solid outfield actions. At the plate, he starts from a square stance and takes an aggressive hack. The ball jumps some off his bat and he showed some hitting tools that project. Good student.
