Frederick Wortman is a 2013 MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Vestal, NY who attends Vestal Central. Medium, lean framed athlete with room to fill out and add strength. On the infield, stays high and fields ball deep. Feet work well, short arm action, skills project best to 2B. Arm is accurate and online. Listed as switch-hitter, only hit from right side. Patient approach, wide base. Handsy swing with inside out approach. Contact to right-center field. Stays on backside, shows very good contact skills. Projects for more at plate with additional strength. Good student.
