2014 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Luke Zupancic is a 2014 RHP/MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Le Claire, IA who attends Pleasant Valley HS. Smaller build, lots of room to get stronger. Submarine pitching style, stays balanced and on line well with his lower half, compact arm action, good arm side run on fastball to 71 mph, soft curveball and change up, moves the ball around and throws strikes, keeps batters at this level off balance well. Showed good quickness and hustle in infield drills, quick release and made the plays. Tall stance hitting, hands extended, contact approach. Good student.
