Michael Hunter is a 2014 RHP with a 6-5 180 lb. frame from Mertstown, PA who attends Brandywine Heights HS. Long and lean build, very projectable physically. Busy multi-part delivery, some effort and balance issues at release, compact quick arm action works really well, though, 3/4's arm slot, repeats delivery well enough and has deception. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, good arm side running action, will cut fastball at times as well. Low 70's curveball has hard spin and tight biting action, good pitch, also shows feel for a change up. Quality off speed pitches and has an idea on the mound. Projects more velocity and unconventional delivery works for him. Follow closely. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
