Nick DeCandia is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Cresskill, NJ who attends Cresskill. Medium, athletic build with room to fill out further. Ran 5.41 40 yard dash. Bats from a slightly open setup and shows good lift to his pull side. Gets out front at times but uses his hands very well and shows fluidity and strength. Has good bat speed and produces consistent line drives. Throws right over the top from shortstop and moves well. Has good carry on his throws. Also took the mound, reaches 76 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot. Shows a nice feel for his 12-6 curveball at 75 mph. Produces good shape with it. Also mixes a changeup with solid fading action. Throws a lot of strikes.
