Tora Otsuka is a 2017 OF/2B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Rancho Bernardo. Otsuka has a medium sized frame with an athletic build. Defensively he has good actions in the outfield with good footwork. Otsuka has good arm strength up to 85 MPH from the outfield with a loose arm action and carry on his throws. He has a quick release and quick feet on the infield as well. At the plate, Otsuka starts with a square stance with an aggressive approach. He has some late bat wrap and has quick hands to the baseball. Otsuka has a good hand path to the baseball and is quick through the zone. He showed good hitting tools with upside. Good student.
