Cole Ganopulos is a 2016 LHP with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Jonesboro, GA who attends Eagle's Landing Christian Academy. Strong physical build with some maturity for his age. Deceptive low 3/4's arm action with some cross body at release, has energy in his delivery that adds to his deception. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph early, gets on hitters quickly, will show both cutting and running action on his fastball. Sweeping slider has good depth and spin, can improve velocity and power on his slider. Threw strikes with both pitches. Will be especially tough on left handed hitters at the next level. Left handed hitter who showed quick hands and some power potential in batting practice. Good student, verbal commitment to Auburn. Named to the Showcase All Prospect Team.
