Jackson Noakes is a 2016 C/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Large, athletic build with long limbs and a projectable build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, short arm action from behind the plate, long release but shows strength and accuracy, pops out of crouch, incorporates lower half into release, ball comes out of hand cleanly. Looked strong in outfield, quick and easy arm action, crow hop into release, gets rid of ball quick, short in the back and accurate throws while getting on top of ball well. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow. Wrapped start, pulls hand back at beginning of swing, short and quick path to the ball. Generates nice bat speed and shows strength coming off the barrel. Shows ability to create extension out front and frequently gets the barrel to the ball. Very good student.
